Kip Moore’s “Thoroughly Vital” SLOWHEART Spotlighted By NPR’s “First Listen” – Available To Stream Now

American Songwriter Also Offers Exclusive Behind-The-Scenes Look At The Multi-PLATINUM Singer/Songwriter’s Recording Process

Nashville, TN — As anticipation builds for the release of Multi-PLATINUM singer/songwriter Kip Moore’s third studio album SLOWHEART on Sept. 8NPR’s “First Listen” started exclusively streaming the album in its entirety Thursday (8/31).  Regarded as a taste-making platform, fans can experience the new music ahead of its official release, heralded as a ‘thoroughly vital 13-song collection” (NPR).

American Songwriter is also offering more insight into the making of SLOWHEART, exclusively debuting a behind-the-scenes look into the making of the album on which Moore has co-producer, songwriter and instrumental credits throughout.  As the release of the “leave-it-on table LP” (Rolling Stone) nears, Moore is already garnering acclaim with Noisey declaring the record as “the sound of an uncompromising, genre-defying artist firing on all cylinders.”

Kip Moore has hit his stride with SLOWHEART (available to pre-order now,) he co-wrote 11 out of 13 tracks, and was the sole producer on seven of the tracks, as well as co-producing five more on the collection. His current Top 10 single “More Girls Like You,” is the fastest rising single of his career and is receiving praise from critics such as Entertainment Weekly declaring he “has made a name for himself weaving vignettes of Southern, blue-collar life and love into rollicking country anthems.” Moore, who has trail-blazed his own path with his reputation-making live show recently announced his headlining PLEAD THE FIFTH TOUR kicking off on 10/19 as well as headlining dates in U.K this fall. Moore also recently revealed that he will be teaming up with international skateboarding champion Tony Hawk, for “MUSIC CITY SKATE JAM PRESENTED BY HARLEY-DAVIDSON,” set to take place at Music City Walk Of Fame Park in Nashville, TN on 9/10. With a shared outlook running through Moore’s “Kip’s Kids Fund” and Hawk’s “Tony Hawk Foundation” with the goal of benefiting and empowering youth, the family-friendly event will raise funds for both initiatives.
