Go Time Records Artist Will Ship Song to Country Radio July 11

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Recording artist Kelsey Hickman announced today the release of her debut single, “Gone”, which shipped digitally to radio via PlayMPE June 27 and CDX June 28, with a physical shipment date via CDX of July 11. The song, produced by Kent Wells (Dolly Parton), was written by Hickman, Wells and Rhyme Partners writer Bill DiLuigi, and is being released under Wells-established label, Go Time Records.”The feeling of releasing a first single to radio is surreal,” said Hickman. “I’ve been doing music awhile, so this next step has been a long time coming. I’m really proud of the material and excited for fans to hear it on local radio.”

Hickman’s no stranger to the country genre. At just 16, she became lead singer of popular Midwest group Still Kickn, opening fairs, festivals and arena shows for Chris Young, Lady Antebellum, Montgomery Gentry, Easton Corbin and Tracy Lawrence. She moved to Nashville after the band’s split in 2013 to begin her solo career, shortly thereafter partnering with Wells for album “Gypsy”, due out in late July.

“Gone” will be available as an instant download on iTunes with the pre-order of “Gypsy” beginning July 8.
