John Anderson Pays Tribute to Bobby Roberts at 2017 NATD Honors Gala

Nashville, Tenn. – Country music legend John Anderson honored his longtime friend and colleague Bobby Roberts at last night’s NATD (Nashville Association ofTalent DirectorsHonors Gala in Nashville. Anderson tipped his hat to the veteran talent agent with an acoustic performance of his 1992 #1 smash hit, “Seminole Wind.”

“Our beginning goes back 30 years ago to fishing on Center Hill Lake,” remarked Anderson following his performance. “Bobby has managed and booked my career with dignity and solid professionalism for a long time. We’ve shared a healthy business relationship for three decades and our friendship is one of a kind. ”

United Talent Agency (UTA) agent and Roberts’ son Travis James introduced the country legend to the stage. UTA co-head Lance Roberts spoke of his father’s accomplishments, with the trio handing Roberts his award.

“Receiving this NATD honor, which I share with my family, is an amazing highlight for my career,” notes Roberts. “I’ve always loved representing the artists with a servant’s heart and a warrior’s spirit. It’s always a team effort and we were blessed with superb agents including our sons Travis and Lance and a support staff which included my wife Diana. I’m a very happy man living the dream!”
