Originally Recorded by Ronnie Milsap in 1986

Nashville, TN — Country artist Jillian Cardarelli releases a remake of “It’s Just Not Christmas (If I Can’t Spend it with You)” originally recorded by country legend Ronnie Milsap in 1986. Cardarelli did a private, intimate performance this morning at Nashville’s Union Station Hotel for industry executives as part of the release. Cardarelli provided a “sneak peek” of the song to her fans late last month on social media.

“Ronnie Milsap will forever be one of my favorite country artists and his album, Christmas with Ronnie Milsap, was the soundtrack to Christmas during my childhood,” said Cardarelli. “I absolutely love that record and this song became a favorite because of the bluesy feel. That’s the direction I went with it, while keeping some of the classic elements as well. I hope my fans will enjoy it this holiday as much as I have over the years.”

Cardarelli partnered with Nashville Lifestyles Magazine for a Facebook LIVE performance Monday morning (12/4) to release this song and announcement that she will be a featured artist covered in the magazine’s Music in the City issue next month as well as a top performer at the Music in the City event on January 24th at Tin Roof in Nashville.

Her first single, Rerun,” was written by Grammy Award-winning artist Maren Morris, Tina Parol and Jordan Reynolds. The single was released in August with the video launching on CMT as part of their Artist Discovery initiative. After nine days in rotation, the video skyrocketed to the Top 10, with two weeks spent at #1, based on fan voting.

Rolling Stone Country ranked Jillian Cardarelli at the top of their list of 10 New Country Artists You Need to Know in August 2017.

Her current single “Souvenirs” released just last month and the video is expected to release just after Thanksgiving. The single made Fox News “The Five” as part of their One More Thing segment to rave reviews.

Originally from the Boston, MA area, she is forging her own path in country music with her stunning vocals, captivating songwriting and girl next door quality. She is currently touring with Easton Corbin on select dates.

Cardarelli’s talent captured the attention of William Morris Endeavor and Suretone Entertainment, both signing her to their rosters earlier this year. She made her CMA Fest debut in June that included packed performances, a fan meet & greet and a partnership with Sears & Heroes at Home.
