Anyone who knows of Jason Aldean knows that as much as he is a country music artist, he’s also a proud huntsman. As an official Buckman, he bears the logo of the Buck Commanders – an elite group of hunters that include former Major League Baseball first baseman Adam LaRoche, former MLB relief pitcher Tombo Martin, Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson, former MLB outfielder Ryan Langerhans, and fellow country superstar Luke Bryan – on his guitar strap and his skin (tattooed on his right arm). He is also featured on Buck Commander’s videos and television show that airs on the Outdoor Channel.

Since August 2016, Aldean has been an ambassador for Field & Stream Shop, whose mission is to “inspire tomorrow’s traditions through products and experiences that stir the sportsman’s passion for the outdoors.”  He recently sat down with them to discuss his partnership with the brand and apparel line but also shared some personal and interesting information that members of his Aldean Army will enjoy.

Watch below as Aldean talks about his memories of hunting with his father and grandfather, and how he hopes to continue such traditions with his family:

Looks like 2018 is going to bring new music and a new tour – along with a new tour mate!

Want to know what Baby Boy Aldean’s name is going to be?  You’re going to have to wait – looks like Brittany has that name under lock and key…..

The Country Note would like to thank Field & Stream Shop for the use of the footage above.
