On Friday, June 30th, Tennessee native Jackie Lee will perform on the Grand Ole Opry stage for the 40th time in his career. The 25-year-old “Getting Over You” singer has had quite an eventful 2017, as he joined Dan + Shay on tour this past spring and was recently selected for Bobby Bones’ Class of 2017.
Sadly, in June 2016, Lee lost his beloved mother to cancer. One month later, he stood on the hallowed stage of the Opry and invited his brother, sister and father to perform Brooks & Dunn’s “Believe” in dedication to their mother. The emotional performance earned them a standing ovation.
