Erin Enderlin Debuts Her Highly Anticipated New Album, “Whiskeytown Crier,” Today, September 1, 2017

With Music Video For Lead Single “Ain’t It Just Like A Cowboy,”
Premiering on CMT Music Channel September 5, 2017

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Following the exclusive premiere on Wide Open Country, unapologetic and raw story teller, Erin Enderlin’s, newest album, Whiskeytown Crier, debuts in the Top 50 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart today, Friday, September 1, 2017. Produced by Jamey Johnson and Jim “Moose” Brown, the album features some of country music’s most authentic artists such as Chris Stapleton, Randy Houser, Ricky Skaggs, and more. Jessi Alexander, Jon Randall, and Jim “Moose” Brown are also featured throughout the album on tracks such as “Baby Sister” and “‘Till I Can Make It On My Own.”

Enderlin’s highly anticipated new album Whiskeytown Crier puts all the sad souls she’s become known for singing and writing about in the same tiny, fictional city. The result is unprecedented: a concept album devoted to women’s experiences in small town, America.

“Making this record I felt like a kid in a country music candy store. It’s everything I ever wanted, from the producers, musicians, engineers, singers, and the freedom to choose the songs I wanted. I’m so proud to be a part of this project, and I’m so excited to share with the world,” said Enderlin of the project.

Enderlin was selected for CMT’s Artist Discovery Program for the month of September where her video for the raw, stripped down, lead single, “Ain’t It Just Like A Cowboy,” will premiere on the CMT Music channel September 5, 2017. While you may already know her for writing hits such as Alan Jackson’s “Monday Morning Church,” Lee Ann Womack’s “Last Call,” and others for Luke Bryan, Randy Travis, Tyler Farr, Terri Clark, Joey + Rory, Tara Thompson and many more, Enderlin’s two critically acclaimed EP releases and 2017’s Whiskeytown Crier have positioned her as one of country music’s brightest torch bearers.
