NASHVILLE, TN – Drake White took his soulful, foot-stomping performance to new heights yesterday when he partnered with Southwest Airlines and Live In The Vineyard for a mini-concert 35,000 feet in the air. On a flight from Dallas to Nashville, Drake serenaded a group of lucky radio winners and Southwest passengers as he performed in the aisles and let the lively crowd know that there would be no sleeping on this trip.

“Sometimes I think about all the cool places that I have been fortunate enough to play and this may top them all,” said Drake. “I am so thankful for the people I have met and the opportunities that I am given and playing for a flight full of lovely folks is a cherry on top of an already awesome start to 2017.”

Upon their return to Music City, winners and industry friends were invited to  attend an intimate reception with Drake at the Ryman Auditorium. Sitting on the famed stage, the group watched as Drake sang five tunes including his current single “Makin’ Me Look Good Again,” “I Need Real” “Livin’ the Dream,” “Heartbeat” and “Story” as well as a special freestyle just for the occasion.

This year has been a remarkable one for the singer/songwriter who fans voted as CBS.com’s GRAMMY “Artist of Tomorrow.” Entertainment Weekly also named Drake as one of “10 Artists Who Will Rule 2017” describing his “vintage vibe with Stax-era soul and bright country-pop.” He will perform at CRS’ New Faces ceremony on February 24 in Nashville before hitting the road again for his first headline dates on the high-octane SPARK TOUR 2017.
