CMA Music Fest Co-Host Kelsea Ballerini Hosts “LEGENDS” of Country Karaoke Contest On Stage

Night one at the Cracker Barrel Country Roads Stage at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater featured an exciting evening of performances by country music legends Big & Rich, Deana Carter, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Country Music Hall of Fame members The Oak Ridge Boys.

Between sets, Cracker Barrel powered an on stage moment with Nash Icon alongside CMA Music Fest’s co-host Kelsea Ballerini for her “LEGENDS” of Country Karaoke Contest. Fans had the chance to sign up Thursday at the Nash Icon tent in Ascend Park to be chosen to perform one of Kelsea’s favorite songs from a legendary artist on the Country Roads stage in support of her new single titled “LEGENDS,” which released June 7th. Ballerini took the stage to welcome all three contestants who took home prizes, including: a $500 gift card and $100 to Cracker Barrel to the winner, as well as a free download of her new single to the entire Country Roads Stage audience.

Additionally, Cracker Barrel teamed up with San Francisco-based rideshare company Lyft to provide free rides to and from local Cracker Barrel stores to bring festival goers a ‘home-away-from-home’ experience. Country music star Granger Smith also surprised lucky riders on their way to a local Cracker Barrel. Smith spent time with the fans on their ride and gifted them gift baskets from Cracker Barrel once they arrived.

Cracker Barrel also surprised the Country Roads Stage audience with a code to redeem a free Lyft ride home last night.

The brand launched Rock-A-Thon, a three-day event that features 644 Cracker Barrel rocking chairs, highlighting their nationwide store count, placed throughout downtown for fans to rock for a good cause. Rock-A-Thon will run until Saturday evening and if festival goers collectively rock 150,000 times, Cracker Barrel will donate $15,000 to the CMA Foundation.
