Chicago White Sox, Grand Ole Opry To Celebrate ‘Country Music Night’ June 23

New Country Favorite Adam Craig to Perform Pre-Game Concert and Opry Circle Throwdown

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Chicago White Sox are bringing a taste of the Grand Ole Opry to Guaranteed Rate Field for “Country Music Night,” presented by Coca-Cola, on Friday, June 23, for a 7:10 p.m. home game against the Oakland A’s.

Stoney Creek Records recording artist Adam Craig is scheduled to take the field just before the game for an Opry Circle Throwdown. Craig will perform an acoustic “Rock the Sox” set on a replica of the famed six-foot Opry circle of wood, which was removed from the historic Ryman Auditorium and placed center stage at the Opry House when the venue opened more than 40 years ago.

The night will conclude with a postgame fireworks show accompanied by video footage of superstars performing their biggest hits on the Opry stage.
