Brett Young Brings New Single to Country Radio

“Like I Loved You” Follows Back-to-Back No. 1 Hits

Only Country Artist in Vevo’s Top 10 Videos of 2017

NASHVILLE, TN – Admirers are in for a treat as Brett Young announces his new single, “Like I Loved You,” which officially impacts Country radio airwaves on July 17 and is available here. The third release from his debut self-titled album on BMLG Records follows back-to-back No. 1 GOLD-certified “Sleep Without You” and PLATINUM-certified “In Case You Didn’t Know.” The latter solidified Brett as the first Country artist to reach RIAA PLATINUM certification status with a song released in 2017.

Brett wrote “Like I Loved You” alongside Jesse Lee, reflecting his honest and heartfelt storytelling with piercing lyrics like:

Don’t tell me
We could still be friends, hang out on the weekends
You’re gonna be okay if I start seein’ somebody new
You hope that I do
It won’t be long
‘Til I forget to call every time that I’m drinkin’
And you ain’t the love song I can’t keep from singin’
I gotta be honest
If you really believe that’s the truth
You never loved me like I loved you

Breaking barriers in the video format as well, Brett remains in Vevo’s Top 10 Videos of 2017 (so far) with “In Case You Didn’t Know.” The only Country artist on the list at No. 6, Brett joins the rankings with Future, Zayn and Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, DJ Khaled, Post Malone and more. The video has surpassed 77 million views and earned a CMT Music Award nomination for Breakthrough Video of the Year. Watch here.

In addition to his own dates across the country, Brett continues his run with Lady Antebellum’s YOU LOOK GOOD WORLD TOUR throughout the summer. Fans and critics are raving about the show and his performance including The New York Times saying “…Brett Young renders deep feelings with thick polish.” For additional information and tour dates, visit BrettYoungMusic.com.
