Here is my story of how I met Tim McGraw.
I had backstage passes for my boyfriend (now husband of 12 years) and I in December 1999. He was playing a show in Wallingford, CT at the Oakdale theater, I had the pleasure of meeting him and he couldn’t have been nicer and kind.
Got to the venue super early went to will call to get our backstage passes and the waiting began. About an hour later we were brought backstage to meet Tim McGraw. As time approached to meet him, I said to my boyfriend , honey I’m so nervous to meet Tim. When it was our turn , the first thing Tim said to me was “it’s OK honey don’t be nervous ” then all of a sudden I wasn’t nervous anymore. I gave him gifts for him and his family. We took pictures and got autographs.
Since that night I’ve seen him over a dozen times , but that night was very special and one I’ll never ever forget.
